Farmalyse B.V. is a Contract Laboratory for pharmaceutical chemical quality control of medicines. The
laboratory operates in conformity with Good Control Laboratory Practice (GCLP) and holds an ISO-9001:
2000 certificate. Farmalyse B.V. is part of Bactimm B.V., a Contract Laboratory in Nijmegen dedicated to
pharmaceutical and medical device microbial quality control.
Both labs are part of Fame Holding, an established biomedical company in The Netherlands with R&D,
Design and clean room production facilities for medical devices and pharmaceuticals.
For Farmalyse in Zaandam, we’re searching for enthusiastic candidates for the job position:
Pharmaceutical Laboratory Technician
We expect an analist who is able to perform testing’s on medicines on one’s own authority within
the GMP-GcLP setting of Farmalyse. The laboratory work consists, to a large extend, of routine
handling according to standard operating procedures.
Position Responsibilities:
- Analysis of multiple components in medicines making use of technique’s like GC, HPLC,
UPLC, UV- and IR-spectrometry, potentiometry;
- Tasks related to equipment management (IQ, OQ and PQ);
- Accurate writing of reports, observations and results;
- Carrying out non-routine analytical investigations in cooperation with the Senior Analist
and/or the Laboratory Manager;
- Efficiently organize, prioritize and plan work schedule.
Following additional work also makes part of the day-to-day function:
- Adjustments of existing methods of analysis and/or development and implementation of
new standard operating procedures;
- Make detailed observations and maintain clear, accurate and timely documentation of all
laboratory work;
- Management and maintenance of laboratory equipment according to good calibration
practises.
Basic Qualifications:
- Medium or higher level education in analytical chemistry – preferably with a few years of
experience in a pharmaceutical QC environment;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office is mandatory;
- Applicants with no working experience are also asked to reply – Farmalyse has an
excellent training program to upgrade technical qualifications in-house.
